Senators says Google-DoubleClick ‘warrants scrutiny’; Microsoft slams deal
WASHINGTON - The chairman of a Senate antitrust panel said yesterday that Google Inc.’s proposed $3.1 billion acquisition of online advertising firm DoubleClick Inc. “warrants close examination” by federal regulators.
